Volunteers have spent the past of this week shifting snow from the pitch but head groundsman Phil Collinson said more still needs to be done.
He said: "We are delighted with the work everyone has put in so far and the playing surface is very good.
"We have some work to do on the pitch and for health and safety reasons we have to move a few of the snow mounds.
"The last thing we want is a playable pitch and an unsuitable stadia. If you can help please come along on Friday at anytime during the day to help out."
