The latest news from the club suggests that Barnsley are getting cold feet over going to tribunal to set the compensation terms for Parkin and Ford's services.

This could have something to do with the fact that the findings of such tribunals are binding on both parties and since the Barnsley Chairman is a tightfisted bastard who doesn't want to pay anything at all he has had second thoughts and reneged on the earlier agreement.

Where this leaves the club, Parkin and the fans God only knows. Though when he tells us we will of course tell you.
