A third member of the back room staff has also gone, scout Russell Richardson has left to take up a similar position with the Yorkshire club.
There has been no agreement over the level of compensation due to be paid to Dale by Barnsley for their blatant poaching of our manager and a first team regular.

This matter will now go to a League tribunal to be settled. Lets just hope Mr Parkin enjoys as much success as the last man – Terry Dolan - who left in similar circumstances ie none at all.
The search for his successor will now begin but David Hamilton and Jamie Hoyland will look after the first team in the meantime.
