Rochdale 1-1 Kidderminster Harriers

Dale manager Steve Parkin warned that if his team don’t perform against Grimsby in midweek then there will be trouble, as he told the media after the game ”We lacked desire and today's performance is totally unacceptable. Not just for me but for every fan who paid to get in.” The dale were denied a goal after Tony Gall more free kick was ruled out by a fowl on harriers keeper Danby.

The dale was poor and Kidderminster took full advantage
on 18 minutes when Hatswell crossed the ball for Beardsley to head home to give the harriers the lead.

Just 10 minutes later the dale were on level terms with Lambert netting for the dale. With 6 minutes remaining the dale were awarded a free kick, which Lambert fired towards the net only for the ball to be deflected over.

It was the visitors whom seemed more likely to take maximum points but Rochdale held out and now face a tough home tie with Grimsby on Tuesday night.
